@Illuminatus but i think it's good. for Democrats, "self defense" has meant "roll things back to the status quo." not good enough. we need to roll things back **past** the status quo to make sure the status quo never happens again. go on offense.

Veronica OlsenI think Hegseth quoting fake bible passages from Pulp Fiction, presumably because he doesn't know they're made up, perfectly illustrates the role of religion in right wing extremist politics. It's a tool to control the masses. Nothing more.
In that respect, I am in 100% agreement with the pope.
I'm an atheist, but I grew up in a Christian community. US and Israeli violence is not in line with the core message. (Although there are people in my old community who supports them.)
