Today is a day for feeling grateful.
The first day of the rest of my life.
Some luck, some love, some positivity;
And I'm thankful for all of it.

I don't know where life will take me from here.
But I'm sure of one thing…
I'm already looking forward to meeting the old me,
The me I'll be, ten years from now.

There, I will took back at this moment
And realize that it all happened for the best;
Because it opened a flood of doors
To a new path on which I now stand tall.
