then they sat down with his court, Victor who's travelling with them, and Rahadin, on Strahd's right. They were served a multiple course dinner russian style, got some entertainment, but most importantly got to discuss with Strahd and his allies.
They entered the room, Strahd was facing away from them and played the organ. I learned a piano piece last minute for the occasion!

Thus they were freed, offered to take a bath and some rest, and come to the dinner in the evening. And that's where we take off with our last session, we played the so awaited and loved by the community "Dinner with Strahd". my twist of it.
North bargained well, and out of this pact (he doesn't know anything about what is asked on his side yet, only that he will "know" when Strahd will request something from him), he demanded that his friends are freed and that they all have that dinner after all.
He took no shit and threw them in his dungeons. They spent a shitty and soaked night there, and the next day Strahd informed them he'll take the time to have a talk with each of them. He took North, the necromancer, away first. He cut his finger as punishment, and then proposed a pact to him.
Once in the Ravenloft, they were told they can explore while waiting for the dinner. They did, and they stole things, and they found secret passages, and they eventually found Strahd's treasury. They decided, much too late, not to take anything and to give themselves in to Strahd.
They went to the winery and helped the vineyards out. Then Strahd joined them to accompany them to his Castle, Ravenloft.
Last session was the dinner, so i'm gonna give the most context around recent events.
They slipped in Barovia's valley through getting lost in misty woods while delivering a cursed painting. Quickly they learned that they can't get out. They walked from Barovia village to Vallaki with Ireena and met the Vistanis on the way. They helped around there. They got an invite from Strahd.
The team is composed of 1 warforged cleric of Lathander, 1 black dragonborn Paladin, and 2 wizards : one of them a young shadarkai elf necromancer, and one an old(well not that much in comparison, u get me) human diviner.
