Second, Israeli soldiers committing sexual violence against Palestinians is not a tertiary aside. Nobody deserves sexual or artillery violence. Period.

Julian's a straight-up dick, but his prosocution stands to send a dangerous precedent for free speech and journalism that we NEED to pay attention to, and to fight. If his camp is spreading BS, I wish they'd stop; but if there is truth to hear, I'd love to know more.

More than disheartened, by today's resignation of Dr. Claudine Gay. Rewarding the online lynch-mobs out to remove Black and BIPOC leaders is exactly what we do NOT need the Harvards of the world to do. Shame on @[email protected] BoD for allowing this to happen.

The tidal-wave of mediocre, cishet White men who've plagiarized—intentionally or not—in their academic work, is not insignificant. Denying a university the leadership of an amazing Black woman scholar carries a cost the world cannot afford.
