Heading to the cottage for the first time without Summer. I don’t have the energy for hateful, disrespectful mail or messages this weekend, so I’m unplugging to recharge for next week. If Twitter goes the way of the dodo, take good care and see you on Mastodon. Shabbat shalom.
Leadership means walking the walk. We will show you how it is done, at our meeting to #BringBackMasks to take care of students and educators. Here’s the motion. To angry parents: There are worse things than wearing a mask indoors. Speak to parents whose children can’t breathe.
Amazing students at @[email protected] (Canterbury High School, Ottawa) - so impressed by the live string quartet at the awards night! Photo shared with permission. This school rocks!
On this lovely (though wintery) day, I just had a tour of @[email protected] - so impressed by all the incredible programs and staff and students there. Next up, I’ll listen to @[email protected] antisemitism education workshop, and then I’ll go to @[email protected]’s student awards event.

Today I’m 48 - only half the age of my oldest patient!
As long as we are screaming into the wind, might as well be a winter wonderland outside, eh? Saddened by the messages from angry people who refuse to take care of children. But, hey, there is beauty. And tonight I receive the Award of Excellence from @[email protected] & @[email protected]

Emergency departments and ICUs are overflowing. No, children shouldn’t have to sacrifice their health to get an education. It doesn’t have to be this way. We will #BringBackMasks. It is incumbent upon us to address the health and safety of all students and educators. #WeNotMe
Lovely swearing in ceremony. This beautiful tree adorns the @[email protected] boardroom. Powerful, rooted in community, like colleagues around the table. I’ve been elected as member of the Special Education Advisory Committee and as a delegate to the Advisory Committee on Equity. Let’s go!
