It's also an #accessibility issue. Screen readers reading Dutch (or any other language) with an English voice. You don't want to hear this.

I like #Metatext as an iOS Mastodon client. But the one thing that I can't seem to figure out is how to change the language of my Toot. I might be wrong, but I don't think that's possible. On the Mastodon web interface I can easily change a Toot to any language (would be nice if I could configure the ones I want to use, instead choose from all). But with Metatext anything I post is marked as English. Which is unfortunate for people who follow me and have no interest in my Dutch Toots.

@[email protected] Oh die 26 euro had ik niet eens gezien. Bizar veel ja.

Ik heb Opeth in het begin van hun carrière gezien en daarna pas weer een paar jaar geleden. Dus ik had nog wat in te halen. 🙂 Nu ben ik wel weer voldaan voorlopig.

Voivod was wel mooi meegenomen, want die had ik nog nooit gezien, maar daar luister ik tegenwoordig relatief meer naar dan vroeger.

@antoinek Gaaf om ze eens live te kunnen zien. Die gasten hebben er nog steeds lol in. Leuke set met oud en nieuw werk. Ik vond het goed. Alleen het geluid was wat modderig tijdens het begin van de set. Dat werd later iets beter gelukkig.

Je moet maar zo denken, nog maar 8 jaar voor het 40 jarig jubileum van Opeth (holy shit, wat klinkt dat oud) 😉 .
