Wow! Felix Schellekens is met zijn solodebuut vanishing acts genoteerd voor de VSCD Mime/performanceprijs.
De jury over vanishing acts:

vanishing acts keert eenmalig terug tijdens het Nederlands Theaterfestival, 3 t/m 13 september 2026. Kaartverkoop start op 3 juli.

Meet the cast and artistic team behind ROOM IN OUR HOUSE.
The music for the performance is born out of a collaborative effort between Ty Defoe (Oneida/Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe) and our in house composer Gary Shepherd (NL/UK). Together, they concerned themselves with the questions: What does peace sound like? What does the earth sound like?

MEET THE MAKERS 🏠 ROOM IN OUR HOUSE
The costume design for the performance is a collaboration between Tisha Thompson (Mohawk) and Jessica Helbach (NL). Tisha created her take on the traditional corn dress and sweetgrass cape as worn by Montana Adams and Montana Summers. Jessica provides Rob Polmann with a visual representation of his Dutch and German roots.

MEET THE MAKERS 🏠 ROOM IN OUR HOUSE
Meet our storytellers on and off stage. Montana Adams (Mohawk) is a theatre artist, focussing on the narratives that have shaped her community. As Sky Woman, she takes on the role of storyteller in the performance.
Ty Defoe (Oneida/Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe) is an interdisciplinary artist and writer, working on the intersection of art, climate justice and cultural activism. His contribution to ROOM IN OUR HOUSE takes shape in the form of four poems.
