Actually, I find it a lot easier to explain a process when I initially struggled with it.

I can’t be alone in this! 😅

It’s an interesting process trying to turn tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge in the form of a book.

Some things come naturally to me and those have been, by far, the hardest to get down onto paper.

For example: networking. I’m a very curious person and really like getting to know people.

But telling people to “be curious” is probably useless advice. I need to write something more tangible.

My second week at my new role starts tomorrow.

Another week full of:
- lots of notes
- lots of questions
- making connections

And building on the mental model I have of how things are tested and why.

In general, I like to think I’m pretty open-minded when it comes to #testing but I like to understand what the thought process is when it comes to choosing tools, approaches etc.

With #TestingDozen ongoing, I am returning to write my book on #ExploratoryTesting on LeanPub. While the current contents of the book match my course on Exploratory Testing Foundations (https://dev.to/maaretp/exploratory-testing-foundations-4lb3) I feel there is so much more I need to say than what a single app starter course contains.
Exploratory Testing Foundations

With so much to say and share on Exploratory Testing, what would you need to know to get started?...

Trying to manually touch up some clothes, it's been a while since I've sewn by hand.

I'm a tad rusty 😅

Let's see what all the fuss is about
