Work on the Ursoc costume continues. Spent a little over an hour on the big central spike this evening. I'm really hoping the rest don't take as long, or I might not get this project done in time for PAX. I'm pushing it as is. More progress. Decided to mock out the chicken wire part on paper first to get the shape, so here's mini-Ursoc (1/6 scale). Without the internal supports, it doesn't quite stand up on its own. https://mastodon.social/media/gsZ2nRC4BSxxhNnnAog

Looking at that picture now, the frame bears (pun intended) a striking resemblance to an AT-AT. Maybe I should paint the inside gray to get more use out of it after BlizzCon.

Ugh. Left work early today due to dizziness and slept for three hours. Only feeling a little bit better now, so currently weighing taking another nap vs. how badly that'll mess up sleep for the next week.

Made it home after the long weekend with family, just in time to turn around and head out on a business trip tomorrow afternoon. I need to learn to plan these things out better.

Things you don't want to hear from the airline check in counter: "You're late." Missed the bag check deadline by about 5 minutes, but they took it anyways. Here's hoping TSA doesn't delay it to much digging through all of the metal plates and make my bag miss the plane.
