Could I have possibly fixed it...
Having problems with sharing on #mastodon from my latest #rails app. If I share with the og:image tag populated with something from the asset pipeline e.g. https://www.previouspage.co.uk/pages/585 then the preview shows properly , but if I share with an image from a folder in public https://www.previouspage.co.uk/pages/610 (because it's a double page spread, so I construct the image using a rake task previously) then it doesn’t show the preview image in the post, any ideas?
