I need to try this again, doing a better job at Gainstaging, as there's a bit more noise floor than I suspect there should be. However, from my recording this morning, here's me waiting for my Lyft.

I really didn’t want this as part of the archive of last night’s Digital Domain so it won’t be.

But I figured out a way to compromise. Here’s how last night’s Digital Domain...um...started

Acording to Eleven Labs' professionals...I sound like this.

So as you might be able to tell, there was no Digital Domain today.

Because of an increased gigging schedule, we’re temporarily moving the show yet again. 7 PM EDT on Monday, starting June 26.

Please give me, and a somewhat choppy Bob due to weather, 5 minutes of your time to explain this, but also listen to a heartfelt request from us for your help.

A scientific speakerphone test: I placed the VTech and the panasonic in the exact same position, then sent the exact same vocal data at the exact same level through both phones into an Asterisk PBX voicemail. I did not normalize the output on purpose so you can hear the level difference.
Comparing the pickup of two Contemporary Cordless phones, the VTech IS8151 and the Panasonic KX-TGF975...With my Panasonic KX-TGP600 SIP-only cordless as the control.
Me being me, I wanted to know what it was actually doing. The more astute eared of you all might be hearing some artifacts that will be almost inaudible in most situations, especially the telephone. I inverted the phase with the original, then normalized the result. Here's "Delta mode".
Let's take you behind the curtain. First, I'm going to attach a hushed professional voiceover that will actually be put into service.
If you own an M1 Mac and are willing to pay $50, you have a usable AI vocal booth, given a very high quality microphone. How? Listen.
