By far the biggest problem? DOUBLE NOTIFICATIONS FOR EVERYTHING

(yes you can manually turn them off, but this is a bad experience)

Beyond glad to hear Mastodon is adding quote posts. I know there are reasons not to like it but the pros outweigh the cons imo

The OnePlus Pad is kind of quite good.

It's still an Android tablet, with the flaws inherent to that, and full of weird quirks like having phone apps installed and ignoring the 12L dock, but... it's good.

I think I've finally figured out why I can't get into Mastodon and other Twitter alts as much – notifications

Masto apps are inconsistent about notifications and delete them all when you open the app, plus you can't (officially) get post notifications
