The length of time it took me to write this bio probably says a lot about me.

Parenting, IT, gaming, reading, and parenting take up most of my time.

@ianhopkinson I've heard it called a 'Scream Test'. Just turned something off myself that should not be in use, but you never know
Time for another #LEGO build. Look how cute this little shuttle orbiter is!
Today dawned bright and clear, so I slipped out of bed at 5.15am and ran one of my favourite routes. I have now been #running for 3½ years and this morning completed my 40th half marathon. The South Downs never cease to inspire me, to provide me with thinking time, and to rejuvenate me. I am so lucky to have this beautiful landscape and the wildlife on my doorstep. #Brighton #Lewes
@hisdeedsaredust Started some modest cycling exercise recently. Found myself going around Stanmer woods at dawn. Was a real struggle not to keep stopping to take photos.

Psst…You want to know about the NASA website that spells out your name in Landsat imagery.

If I ran a dentist practice in 2024 I would simply advertise that we're ADHD-friendly and say up-front that we would just see you and treat you, and would never, ever remark on or shame you for the state of your teeth or how long it's been since you've last seen a dentist

@Cameleopard Thanks - finding time for it was always one of my excuses but luckily I'm a morning person so set my alarm an hour early.

It's starting to feel like a habit but I guess the big test will be when the kids go back to school and my mornings get busy.

Went for an over 50s checkup recently and they suggested a bit more exercise. I'm lucky that I walk to work but I'm otherwise quite sedentary.

So, I've started cycling again, playing Ring Fit Adventure, and also some arm reps with dumbbells (if I remember).

I hope I can keep it going when the novelty wears off.

@mcnees Was in Crete recently and in one location the cicadas were so loud it was actually painful
