The link has helped. The parts were included with my purchase. The pictures show how it works with the two narrow planing knives. I also took the opportunity to understand that there are even pre-cutters on the planer body that can be moved to the skid. A really great #handtool .
@tomhoworth Thank you for asking for pictures. On my recently purchased Stanley No. 50, the narrow planer blades cannot be clamped properly. Hope it can be seen in the pictures. It only works with the wider planer blades (1/4" and more ). Do I have to do something different with the narrow ones?

I recently bought a Stanley No. 50 combination planer. When I tested it, I found that everything works great with the 1/4" and larger knives. With the smaller ones, the planer knives cannot be clamped firmly. Now I'm wondering whether I'm doing something wrong or whether the planer is broken.
Does anyone have any tips?
