Women have contributed a lot to Computer Science. During World War II, thousands of women worked as "human computers." Special mention of Grace Hopper who developed the first compiler for a programming language.

Of course, Ada Lovelace, who was the first computer programmer!

Girls, don't be intimidated to pursue Computer Science. Women have worked in computing throughout history. You have plenty of female role models to look up to. Women have always belonged in computing!
