Em termos de sabor, achei este bule bastante interessante: para Dan Cong oolong esconde algumas das notas florais, mas acrescenta as notas lácteas e de malte e, em geral, equilibra o sabor, escondendo alguma amargura. Como estas argilas são adequadas a quase todos os chás que costumo beber, agora estou com vontade de as experimentar todas.

Hoje temos um novo #teapot. Feito por Yinchen Studio, de #duanni / #lüni louça, ~150 ml. Paredes muito suaves e finas, o barro é bastante poroso e, por último, mas não menos importante, é uma melancia! O teapot preferida de Fred 🐸
Dinner tonight: steak with chimichurri, grilled asparagus, pao de queijo, clean out the freezer fruit crumble.
Tidied up the strawberry bed at the #allotment today, pulling off dead leaves.
These plants are starting their 3rd season now so may now be past their best. We’ll take runners off them & start a new bed in the Autumn with some different varieties too.
They served us well though, last year was epic!

Dinner tonight: (well, last night) "sour cream and onion" pan fried chicken cutlets with cucumber salad

Made an Italian cherry and custard pie. The pastry was an absolute nightmare to work with, but it baked well.

Recipe was from The Silver Spoon (large Italian cookbook). #food #dessert #pie #tart

Since I totally over-catered for yesterdays gathering, it was #pizza for lunch today too! (And will be for dinner tonight - oh how we suffer)

Tonight I'm trying a sample of Smokeshou from White2Tea. It's really good if you like both puerhs and lapsang souchong, but it needs very short steeping times to begin with because it gets very dark very quickly. The leaves didn't truly open up until after the sixth cup, the liquor was so dark.
