Just got word from GoTo that they have no way of enforcing MFA on a tenant just like Snowflake couldn’t. They pass the buck and say set up SSO. cc @GossiTheDog
@dnsprincess yeah sophos has a whiskey tasting event 200 miles away and somehow driving 3-5 hours to taste booze at 6:30-9pm just doesn’t sound wise nor warranted.
@dnsprincess our architect has gone full koolaid and his team overseas has been generating several multiple page documents to support some new project that are either incomplete, wrong, or all fluff. They expect the documents to be used to provision the production copy of their bloated Claude generated project but if they were to follow their own bs docs it wouldn’t result in a working system. When being told this they went back to Claude and have been prompted to upgrade their account. The project is dead until they fork over money for credits that don’t give them any valid answers.
@cR0w of course ../ strikes again.
@cR0w updated info, 8.8, 8.3, 6.7 post auth issues. CVE-2025-32819, CVE-2025-32820, CVE-2025-32821. Unclear if the psirt was just caching content as sort by date didn’t show the content earlier.
@cR0w another SonicWall SMA100 release 10.2.1.15, dropped 5/7, email announcement today, no psirt details, vague “SMA-5802 vulnerabilities reported by Rapid7” note. Happy Monday.
@GossiTheDog yes yes you did.
@SwiftOnSecurity in this house and in your closet we obey the laws of thermodynamics! This is why it’s in the basement as any other place is subject to HVAC and other environs. Beyond that “quiet” is subjective. As a teenager I ran a multi fan full tower dual oc’d Celeron computer and slept in the cold cathode glow. Now I know the value of multi room. Bedroom has a projector and Apple TV and a receiver. Living room and den has a tv and the Apple TV and another receiver. Silence is achieved that way. Otherwise a closet is too cramped. I know that from bad work setups I’ve encountered. Heat has to go somewhere or it just gets worse and louder.
@SwiftOnSecurity the trick is not putting it where you want it to be quiet. Find another room otherwise you’re going to run too hot, especially with the gpus. I use a dell r720xd with fans tuned. And even that is going away since it’s an easy 200w+ eating at your bill.
@GossiTheDog oh good it aligns with the first cert shift to 200 day expiration too. Quick everyone find new fields before then so it all crumbles with no one to figure out anything anymore
