Another person on a bike hit by a car driver near my home today. The driver turning off a side street onto the main road didn’t fully stop for the bike that was rightfully crossing the intersection in the bike lane. Good news: The cyclist was able to leave on his own after being treated in the ambulance.
Dear Drivers: Please fully stop 🛑 at cross streets and intersections.
@ascentale @i_cannot_today @PamelaSchure @bikenite #Bikenite A6. 😱 No no no no! Super cheap bikes break so easily. And bike maintenance is so cheap! In fact, it's BETTER to buy an old bike and repair it (and cheaper) than it is to buy a new bike!!!
Look up the "boots theory of socioeconomic unfairness". It's MORE EXPENSIVE to churn through cheap stuff constantly than to buy something slightly more expensive which will last a lifetime.
