Just a reminder to everyone tweeting about the Canadian wildfires that 3 years ago, Australia was in the grip of as bad, if not worse bushfires (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019–20_Australian_bushfire_season), and NOTHING has been done in the intervening years to actually reduce GHG emissions.

These aren't the "new normal", or "the first signs of climate change". This is climate change. This is our planet dying. This is 1°C warming.

So it looks like Twitter is going to use "Fuck you, I'm a billionaire." as its justification to not pay rent, not pay bills, exploit foreign workers working under visas, and break EU laws about data preservation and distributing hate.

Look, I don't know how to say it any harder, but if you're still playing his game, you are also part of the problem.

I have lost a lot of respect for those who are.

It tells me when the real crunch comes, when lives are on the line, you will be a collaborator.
