This toot brought to you by the car-disaster that is #AustinSt in #ForestHills. I was biking on 70th Rd to get to Austin St, which has angled back-in parking because hey why not? Someone was parking, so of course there was a line of 4 cars that I was passing when the driver of one of the cars starts laying on the horn impatiently as I was literally a foot away next to the car. I made the mistake of not wearing headphones. Must remember to always wear headphones when biking in NYC.
Man, #AustinSt in #ForestHills is way overdue for bike parking. #BikeNYC
RT @kenmcld How I feel every time I see a terrible "FAQ" by a member of AASHTO that dismisses lowering speed limits without engaging with the agency's choices that undermine slower speeds https://iowadot.gov/traffic/manuals/pdf/speedlimitbrochure.pdf
