At a bookshop.
I browse, and I wonder if one day I might have a story or two up on those shelves.
Then I think about
how you choose a book when there's so many,
and how many books nobody will ever buy,
and what is the most sustainable way
to get words out there,
but maybe those are things to consider after I've written something :3

then, we were snow leopards.

dropping back to all fours,
prints in the snow;
we knew we'd changed,
but at the same time
we were always snow leopards,
here in the unfamiliar mountains
that, nonetheless, felt like home. ✨
