This was purely an experiment to see if I can make my Mustache Men drawing on a basic canvas from the hobbie store. I don't use canvases that much because of the flexing and my artwork is pretty precise. Did it turn out ok?

This story comes from the Baltic region of Northern Europe, where I live.
Winter here has always shaped the way people eat. Long before modern supermarkets, food needed to be harvested in autumn and preserved to last through months of cold, darkness, and limited fresh produce.
