I gravitate toward playing “helping” archetypes in team games. Whether it’s a MOBA or squads in Fortnite, I tend to play as a support for my team rather than the “main character”.
I wonder how much of that has to do with my fear of failure? If I’m in the habit of carrying my team, it feels really bad when I don’t do well. But playing support roles usually gives me a lot more wiggle room for errors. At the same time, I know I just enjoy helping others.

@happyvader thank you! Just to give som more detail, my vision is to have a public-facing side of the Discord for anyone to join. People could chat about meaning in games and share resources (for instance, it sounds like it would be a great place for you to promote your content, too!).
Then I also am planning to offer (paid) courses I facilitate that people can sign up for to engage in small group learning experiences. Then there would be a channel category for “alumni”.

Hi all! I am brand new to this platform, and it looked really unique and interesting so I’m giving it a try.
I am a gamer and educator, and I am starting a Discord called Games of Purpose University. I want to build a community of gamers who look for the meaning behind the games they play and actively seek enrichment through group learning. I hope there are some like-minded people on this platform!
