in the spririt of @mcness posting chill views of Lake Michigan, I'd like my feed to have some of my infrequent astrophotos. here's the core of the milky way.

here's that sun funnel used "properly" on the sun, with a 3" scope. zoom in to avoid the terrible human, and to see sunspots. sun funnels are a great way to view the sun safely, as long as the scope is small (~3" or less).

here's a photo of the moon, and the view of the same moon projected onto a screen from a 13" telescope pointed at the moon. it's a sun funnel, but used on the moon. IYKYK
