@collin Spotlight or a Spot-a-like such as Alfred or Raycast are essential to my use of the Mac.
@kunimido @paul I’ve seen this as well. I haven’t been able to pin down how to consistently get it to reboot and let me see the FileVault decryption screen.
I’ve tried different remote apps, Screens Connect, VNC/Screen Sharing, Jump Desktop. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. When it doesn’t I end up squatting in my basement with my tiny monitor and keyboard to get it back online.
@paul I just use FileVault and drag a usb-c monitor to the thing every 3 months to update the OS. Still aggravating.
Anyone have any tips to try and get an abandoned kitten out of a dumpster? I’m here trying to coax it out with treats and it isn’t going well
