I wasn't aware of that, asshat. But that's not all monarchies. For example, the UK. Even the ones listed in the article are mostly 'elected' by some sort of body which is already in power. Not by the general population.
Doesn't change what the No Kings protests are about. Trump wants to be King for Life with absolute power.

The "No Kings" thing has nothing to do with saying Monarchs are tyrants or Nazis. What they're saying is that Kings aren't elected and the President is. That's it.
