Spring has sprung.

How can I tell?

We have these one way copper reflective windows on the south side of our house.

Every spring we get a small bird (chickadee?) that spends hours every day against the glass either trying to fight it's reflection or having sex with it.

This year there's two of these crazy birds.

Our cats think it's an amazing show.

Will the media stop saying that MusKKK is responsible for everything his companys do? It wasn't Musk that "put a chip" into this person's brain. It was scientists from Neuralink. They make it sound like MusKKK is holding the scalpel and cutting into the guys brain. Stop praising the Nazi for crying out loud!!!

OMG. Was doing a little travelling down memory lane and looked at my old high school website. School looks quite different then when I went there nearly 40 years ago.

Decided to check out Wikipedia history of the school. I think a student had some fun editing the history. I don't recall that from when I was there. But then again I was such a geek.

Some pretty flowers to brighten your day.

This makes me chuckle. Trying to get a copy of the Proofpoint latest data breach report and this is what I see in my browser.

Its a report about security and you want me to lower my security to view it? Really?

Happy Family Day for those in BC.

Decided to spend some Christmas money on a new mechanical keyboard. Was looking at a Ducky keyboard when somebody mentioned Keychron. They are definitely more my style of keyboard.

Spent a couple of days looking at the different models, watching videos, etc and settled on the Q3 Pro SE with brown keys. Ordered from Amazon.ca and it arrived today (Thanks amazon delivery people for working today).

This keyboard is a TANK. It weighs 5lbs. Typing on it is absolutely a joy. I've used other mechanical keyboards (das keyboards, typing heaven) previously but this thing is like the Ferrari of keyboards. So damn sexy.

Took a bit of fiddling to get the qmk stuff to work on #Archlinux but thanks to some google magic I got it figured out. Now I just need to do some customizations to take advantage of the extra keys, layers, etc.
