I'm a skeleton who loves coding in C and its descendants.
About MeI will post about my experiences with personal software and computer projects I am working on, and I'll boost things that are funny, interesting or important to Software Developers.

a "software vegan" is someone who refuses to consume software that was not produced ethically by human hands
My biggest gripe with the #software industry, why adopt big complex bulky clunky tool when the simple tool works well?
@martinus I'm more concerned about what comes next, since this law passed unopposed they can later decide on more draconian measures as people circumvent this relatively unenforceable law. Right now though organizations like System76 and likely Canonical and others are planning on complying and this will probably affect us outside of the US too, unless we switch to Arch or even LFS lol.
@LonM Nvidia is a massive pain, I don't intend on ever using their GPUs again.
Zorin OS: complete review and honest opinion

Full review of Zorin OS 18. We tested this Linux distribution on both recent and old hardware. Is the Pro version worth $56? Our honest take.

@argv_minus_one I sometimes use it if I want to write in a language like SQL or BASIC but I often find myself holding shift instead, or just using a more modern formatting style.

Just some history on how/why that beautiful #Nintendo design for their DSi XL/LL handheld came to be!

Literally designed to look like a bowl full of water (which clearly I love)

Yet again, my favorite #gaming stories are the ones you tend to overlook, like this one!

I've been wanting to try out this language. Maybe I'll go ahead and do it already.

I tried out #simh with #Unix 5 and 7 today. A remarkably modern operating system, though even the later version 7 lacks a lot of modern quality of life features that can be found in #Linux thanks to #bash. It's also cool to see how #C evolved from 1974 to 1979 to the first ANSI standard C89. It was far more simple in 1974, though I'm glad it evolved over time.
