Joseph City, Arizona, a small town near Holbrook on Route 66.

I went for a walk this morning and saw these two dew-covered spiderwebs glistening in the sun. On the way back, the sun had moved and I had trouble even finding them.
Jack Rabbit Arizona on Route 66. Here It Is! Jack Rabbit Trading Post is just west of Joseph City and it has a famous billboard with the silhouette of a rabbit on it. The movie Cars riffed on this sign, replacing the rabbit with a Model T. There is also an abandoned gas station and campground nearby.

I finally made it to Winslow, Arizona on Route 66. So much to see there, and yes, I did stand on a corner.

I heard that they had started refilling the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and yesterday I decided to check it out.
The water is slowly filling the pool, starting from the center, which is the deepest part. There were some people powerwashing to bottom and there were a number of trucks and trailers parked in the pool but out of the water. There was a group of people in an ATV that seemed to like driving through the water and did it multiple times. Even at this stage, the pool is reflecting the trees around it (and the Washington Monument if you are directly in line).
