Gearing up to the first public release of Toad next week with an update to the vibe coded website.
I think it looks pretty good. But I'm no web designer...
Your `pip` unwrapped 🎇
- you tried to install `requirements.txt` 18 times this year. Doing better than last year!
- of the packages you installed 67% started with py, 11% python, and 6% Py. You guessed wrong 85 times.
- your love for building source has no bounds, except maybe the 92 failed compiles
- you updated `requests` 18 times. Urllib is feeling lonely.
- the average time between updating `pip` was 97 days. But we warned you 338 times!

If you have kids, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is available in large parts of the US. Both of my kids received books from Dolly and it's a wonderful program. My youngest looks forward to the books every month, like her older brother did. It's a wonderful program by Dolly.
@castastrophe I was on a few teams that were under 10 people, the main thing that made them work was we had a high level business goal and a timeline, but the team could make all of the decisions about the direction and the work. At the same time, we did biweekly demos with stakeholders who actually cared and could give actionable feedback in the meeting.
The opposite is everything (even demos) being locked behind stakeholder approval, and that approval being a tortuous process.
Prompted by a recent GB paint program demo, taking a lil detour to try hooking a #SNES Mouse directly up to #GameBoy (snes controller protocol over link port).
Commited a few crimes with the latch and clock polarity (signal inverter not here yet), but it still manages to ~work on a DMG.
The paint program demo in question:
