This is immensely annoying. My last TM backup has finished, I have manually deleted lingering snapshots, but > 10% of my drive is still taken up by “🤷‍♂️”, only a minority of which is purgeable. So I can't rip any UHD discs until the OS decides it feels like giving me my space back. When did Mac storage become such a mess?

It's clear a lot of effort goes into Apple Music The Service—all these animated artist banners and the new full screen animated album art on the OSes 26 are really cool, even though I'm sure they're not to everyone's tastes. I'm sure they wouldn't lose any subscribers if they didn't do this stuff, so it's cool that they do. But it does make it all the more baffling that Apple Music The Apps are so bad.
