Diary of the newly laid off... I didn't sleep. Receiving the official letter of termination yesterday at 5:30 on my time in my space was cold, calculated, and cruel. Why not send it the day you laid me off? Why couldn't it wait until Monday? I suppose telling them what insensitive, coldhearted aholes they are and demanding an apology would do me no good. And I'm expected to go to work on Monday and do my job for 2 more months. Yeah, I'll be holding up a certain finger the entire time.
Diary of the newly laid off.. Well, I just got the 'official' letter of separation from my employer. Apparently, they can't leave me in peace for the weekend. Imagine which finger I'm holding up... I was doing better. Now I'm angry all over again...
