I’ve just released Mp3tag v3.33 ❄️

Mp3tag is a powerful and easy-to-use tool to edit metadata of audio files. Musicians, DJs, podcasters, and audio-enthusiasts use it for many different aspects of handling audio files.

The new version supports scaling and cropping covers to square, adds new resizing options for artwork, mitigates an issue introduced by a recent Windows Update, and comes with many other improvements and fixes.

Mp3tag v3.31 is here ☀️

It comes with a new feature for covers management which allows for adding, removing, replacing, adjusting, and reordering of embedded cover art in one or multiple files.

It also adds support for selective removal of MP3 tag types ID3v1, ID3v2, and APEv2, adds support for removing unsupported fields from MP3 files, and comes with many other improvements and fixes.

It comes with improvements for multiple files with varying covers, options for field mapping of MKV files, and an ARM64 context-menu extension.

This version introduces improved field mappings for Matroska video MKV files, a new scripting function $sort(x,y) to sort segments of a string based on a specified delimiter, and improvements for the installer and uninstaller.

It also includes a surprising number of bug fixes and improvements, so I highly recommend updating.
