Part of being on all these social media sites as a creative is that it ends up being that many more places to try and remember to post the things that I have worked on. There was definitely an appeal to having one central place to share my podcasts.
Been watching the chaos of the birdsite and it's been interesting to see how things are shaking out. Lots of movement to the Bluesky despite being a less mature service than Mastodon. Curious what the "nope point" has been for this service. Confusing onboarding?
Watched John Wick 2 & 3 and enjoyed them despite their increasingly convoluted worldbuilding. Like, is everyone in NYC an assassin?
I'm at the stage of ideation for this novel where I'm trying to come up with interesting names and wow are all the name meaning websites garbage junk awful crap.
I haven't been on a non-actual play podcast in awhile and it was nice to just be the guest this time around. :)
I was on a gaming podcast to talk about Elden Ring and how while it was the best gaming experience of 2022, it had one damning flaw and that flaw was Malenia.

Episode 124: Elden Ring | Damage Boost
Bryan and Jon from ATH Network join Brok to talk about perhaps one of the best games of 2022 and why Melania sucks.
ATH NetworkI've been kicking around a fantasy novel in my head for years and feel enough of a creative spark to give it a go. Something I learned almost immediately is that I've been playing D&D long enough to where I'm stuck in the vancian style of magic. So, I've been using Miro to mindmap a pantheon and history of the world that lets me do magic differently.
Thanks to the weeks of rain that we had here in SoCal, our back yard has a lot of green in it. Don't think it's grass necessarily, but I kind of want to capitalize on the healthier ground and start putting grass seed down. Just kind of looking for the lazy way to do it, hah.
I’m losing my god damned mind with all this rain here in SoCal.
I wrote an article recommending one of my favorite viewing experiences of the year so far.
