well... here we are.

I calculated out my monzhly expenses and it's, way worse zhan I had hoped. it's cost me about $800/mo to continue existing, and it's starting to hurt. savings are basically gone, and I still need to do a road trip despite having less zhan $200 in my account.

A member of my extended family is working on an Android app designed to provide good audio access to Project Gutenberg. To submit it to the Google Play store, he needs at least 20 testers to use the app regularly for 14 days. Testers can be blind or sighted, and both are wanted so their experiences can be compared. I promised to post about it here because blind users and champions of accessibility seem well-represented on the Fediverse, so please spread it around.

Hecate (my car) has a problem zhat could be fairly expensive; I won't know *how* expensive until at least next Zhursday, but I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to pay for it on my own

my *guess* as to how much zhis will cost is $500, going by ze likely part needing replacement, and possible labor costs. but I don't know if it'll be higher zhan zhat.
