VR bought 24 X class locos in three series between 1966 and 1976. The first series locos, built in 1966 were mechanically similar to the streamlined S class, and they ran pretty much interchangeably with them on main line freight and passenger trains. Ich würd aber gern noch mal ein ernstes Wörtchen mit mir selber von heute Vormittag reden, warum um alles in der Welt ich ausgerechnet auf dieser Tour durch die Dresdner Heide auf dem Hinweg den Kannenhenkel (erst übles Kopfsteinpflaster, dann Gravel mit >10% Anstieg) fahren musste statt halt einfach den guten alten Prießnitzgrund.

Und die schon lange bestehende Lücke auf der ~~Streckenkarte~~ Heatmap zwischen Kamenz (dahin war ich mal von der Waldeisenbahn Muskau her geradelt) und Radeberg geschlossen.

Ich hab endlich alle Kabel an den Weichenantrieben dran. Entspannt am Küchentisch Sachen zusammenlöten ist ja auch echt super, aber es war jetzt doch Zeit, einzusehen, dass ich ganz und gar keine Lust habe, über Kopf im Regal mit dem Lötkolben zu arbeiten. Also...

An einem Dienstagvormittag außerhalb der Saison, wenn nicht der halbe Nationalpark voller Autos steht, ist das auch richtig schön im Kirnitzschtal. Und in der böhmischen Schweiz auf den schmalen Landstraßen durch die Dörfer, ein Traum!

Bergauf hat mir am Anfang der Kollege hier Windschatten gegeben 😍 -- leider nur bis zum Zeltplatz, weil da eine Gruppe Fahrgäste irgendwas unbedingt vor dem Einstieg mit dem Schaffner ausdiskutieren wollten... War trotzdem toll!
