So here is the story of the direwolf: The forests of the Fae, once home to this direwolf, were stripped for resources. Trees were cut down, rivers poisoned and full of trash, and the land was left in ruin.
The Fae raised runestones whose magic was meant to stop the destruction, but even they failed. Now the runes only glow faintly.
The direwolf wanders the dying forest searching for life, but everything is tainted — including himself.
Eventually he realizes the truth:
He is the last of his kind.

"The last of it's kind"

As some of you may know, last weekend I mustered up all my courage and participated in my very first competition, the Bembel Miniature Cup, after only 4 months in this hobby. This is one of three entries I contributed in the category "Expression Standard".

Everything started with DnD and I soon knew that I wanted to make dioramas. So as soon as I've seen this mini I knew it deserved his story to be told.

This faetouched direwolf will be part of a diorama I am preparing for the #bembelminiaturecup26 🤫 that's why it has no base!

It will be my first ever competition and to say I'm not nervous would be a big lie 😅 only two weeks left! But I'm just in it for the fun and meeting people with the same hobby! I think it's a great possibility to connect. So: will anybody here also be at the Bembel mini cup?

Here are the final pictures of my statue mini 📸

It's my second Synoria mini from @dm.stash that I painted and the both have total different vibes. For this one I chose a statue look and a rose garden diorama. She will only be used as display and appreciated every day! The other one will be played in our campaigns – it's important to always have more possibilities 🤭

Lucky deal with the tiefling devil? 💰

For this tiefling miniature from @dm.stash I used a dark and cool color palette using greenish and blueish tones and silver for the highlights to make it look more elegant. I was thinking of basing with lava but then I wanted to make it look that he walks overground on earth looking for his next victim to deal with.

May I introduce to you: Oleg, the one-eyed dwarf and his little companion Frogo. And also my first commission 🤭🥳

I had so much fun painting these two! Especially Frogo (a very very far distant relative to Frodo 🤣) was a whole new challenge because he's so tiny...

My friend was super happy with the result! Can't wait to see them be played.
