Coming to crimp a cat6 cable on a rj45 connector proofed to be extremely painful compared to what it used to be 15+ years ago.
It seems like there is a trick and "the right tools for the right job" but still, god damn.
Also the lines come nicely paired up but you still have to tangle them around :(

I finished #MetroidDread what an amazing adventure.
Having failed at finishing #supermetroidfusion (because I never finished games on emulators) I can't help but to feel accomplished.
Now time for a forced break (waiting on #seaofstars to be delivered by the end of the year).

I gotta admit that coming from #metroidfusion for #gba to #metroiddread for the #switch I was *very* hesitant wrt the whole graphics and transitions into 3D but after immersing myself into the game a few hours already I've found all the elements that make #metroid a good saga (gameplay, storyline, even the music has been modernized while staying true to the brand).
10/10 would buy again

This is the last time that I allow #archlinux to get on my way. It's been 12 beautiful years but I can't no more. I have reached the point where I want up-to-date packages without my system breaking randomly after updates.
This week it was #grub 's turn. Can't take it any longer. I've grown old :p

My federated #nomad cluster has been running smoothly for the past couple of weeks since I stabilized the configuration and I'm quite happy with it.
The next step is to import the last missing job: #nextcloud
Then all my workloads would be nomadified.
After that, time to add #vault to manage secrets

Can anybody recommend a good #UPS brand (available in Europe) for a #homeserver setup? Doesn't need to run for hours but ideally it can give the server enough time to shutdown all services and unmount the disks safely before shutting itself down.
Also to keep the router going for a bit.

After years of owning a #MacBook I'm switching now to a #ZenBook with an #AMD chip and an #OLED screen. Curious about performance, battery life and overall UX, as I'm going to give #Windows + #WSL2 a serious opportunity.
#Archlinux is awesome but I hate having to boot back and forth between the two OSs to be able to either code or game. I wanna have the 🍰 and eat it, damn it!
