Gregorová prosadila svůj návrh, kterým defakto končí Chat Control. Stále ale není vyhráno

Štrasburk, 11. března 2026 - Platformy budou moci dál využívat výjimku z ePrivacy směrnice, která jim umožňuje skenovat osobní komunikace uživatelů, pouze u podezřelých osob na základě povolení soudu. Jen v těchto případech budou moci platformy nahlédnout do osobní komunikace uživatelů kvůli vyhledávání sexuálního násilí na dětech. Takový je postoj Evropského parlamentu, o kterém dnes rozhodli europoslanci. Podle pirátské europoslankyně Markéty Gregorové, která změna prosadila, jde o ohromný úspěch pro všechny Evropany. Návrh teď půjde do trialogu, definitivní schválení se očekává na konci března.
