OpenAI is "pausing" its Stargate Data Centre project in the UK, citing the high cost.
The company said the project "will move forward when the right conditions such as regulation and the cost of energy enable long-term infrastructure investment."
Or better: They do not have the money.
It was one of the flagship projects of the UK government's growth plan.
Elon Musk is requiring banks and other advisers working on SpaceX’s planned IPO to buy subscriptions to Grok.
Some banks have reportedly agreed to spend tens of millions of dollars a year on the chatbot and have begun integrating it into their IT systems.
