Evidently a cyber specialist.

Yeah, OK.

Why in the everloving blue FUCK does Asus Amoury Crate install a kernel driver to begin with? How fucking irresponsible and lazy can you be? https://talosintelligence.com/vulnerability_reports/TALOS-2025-2144

I helped build a government AI system. DOGE fired me, rolled the AI out to the whole agency, and implied the AI can do my job and the jobs of the others they've fired. It can't. But, what DOGE accidentally revealed about themselves in the process is fascinating. 🧵

Microsoft. I want windows to do exactly two things.

1. Be an operating system.
2. Leave me the fuck alone and let me work.

That's it. I don't want clipchamp, I will keep removing new Outlook no matter how many times you reinstall it and make it impossible to block. I do not want to know more about my desktop picture. I do not want to search bing from the desktop. I do not want to see the slow loading news every time I accidentally put my mouse in a certain place.

Make an operating system that shuts the fuck up, can you do that?

I would like to thank the developers behind Windows 11 for bringing back 15-minute boot times. I've really been feeling some nostalgia for my old laptop that booted from a 4200 RPM hard drive. Added bonus: same amount of free memory in both machines! It really does feel like a trip down memory lane.
Windows 11 is the Windows Vista of 2024. That's all.
It blows me away that Microsoft with Windows 11 is coming out with all these stupid new interfaces ways to mine and sell your data, but Explorer still crashes when you simply drag a file across a network drive icon that's currently disconnected. Or simply the fact that Outlook is still a steaming pile that freaks out and doesn't know how to reconnect when you open your laptop. Fix some longstanding massive problems with our software? Nah, let's cram our shitty AI down everybody's throat.

Windows 11 is adding a 'Share' button to the Start menu and Taskbar

Microsoft wants you to share content/items more frequently, so it's now adding the "Share" button everywhere, including the Start menu and even the taskbar.

The post-election thing that I'm looking forward to the most, regardless of the results, is the completely rational and in no way violent response from the right.
Even after all this time and building their own cloud with billions invested in data centers, Microsoft just can't manage reliable fucking downloads from their servers.
