Just a note that a lot of transphobes are now moving from twitter to instances such as mastodon.scot
I call on mastodon.scot to crackdown on such accounts, and listen to trans people when they point out dogwhistles, else risk getting fediblocked.
I ask other instances to be prepared to fediblock mastodon.scot if they don't take serious action, to keep their trans users safe.
The Scottish Parliament have responded to the UN Special Rapporteur's letter regarding Gender Recognition Act Reform with this very robust and thorough document which covers in detail what the function of the GRA is, what gender recognition certificates do and don't effect, and why it's important to bring Scotland's process in line with international standards.
Naturally, anti-trans campaigners are NOT happy about it.

It's worth noting that WPATH and others are absolutely clear about what the "psychotherapeutic" approach means for gender care - it's conversion therapy by another name, seeking excuses to delay and deny gender affirming care.
The fact that this is being recommended by NHS interim guidelines is an appalling failure to protect and uphold standards of care for trans and gender diverse people.
