I've just got home from being in hospital the last 2 weeks, had an ileostomy and stoma bag fitted. Another thing to deal with on top of my type 1 diabetes and other health issues. Yesterday it was confirmed that I have Bowel cancer, luckily it's local to bladder/bowel and hasn't spread. They are referring me for chemotherapy. It's going to be a bit of a journey and a while before things get back to a new normal for both work and CHV / conference activities. I'd like to say thanks to my family and everyone that has been in contact for all your support so far and going forward. But a HUGE thanks to @kentindell for being at the end of messenger.
