I grew up in the early ’90s, and looking for a pocket of quiet in a world that never switches off. During the day I work in corporate compliance (yes, I know that sounds thrilling). At night I trade the spreadsheets for something a little more… adventurous. I devour books, write, tinker with code, revisit old‑school video games, dive down philosophical rabbit holes, sit in a quiet corner to meditate, hit the pavement for a short run, and knead a hefty amount of dough

@gimulnautti What do you think about leaving our ego at the door and embracing AI so long as it accurately gets our point across better?

I think a lot of the pushback against AI is just… ego. We’re worried people’ll think we’re “lazy” or “unskilled.”

I’m pretty good at writing (there's the ego 😜), but I still use AI because it’s faster and better. It’s not about being lazy, it’s about getting the job done right.
