16bit assembly is so silly.
You enter a function and step one is you make a pointer to 2, and then increment from there
This mass media and corporate op to raise sympathy for the UHC CEO and demonize Luigi is never going to work, because WE HAVE ALL HAD A REASONABLE INSURANCE CLAIM DENIED. We have all had to take care of our own injuries or skip meds. Personal experiences aren’t that easily erased.

As America's democracy teeters, and as fascists gather in Madison Square Garden in a sick replay of a 1939 Nazi rally, the founder and CEO of the tiny but superb Mississippi Free Press offers a history lesson, a stark warning, and a vow to resist.

She and her staff have more courage than the Washington Post and LA Times put together.

Please read her piece and share it widely.

Democracy | As Fascism Looms, the Free Press Must Stand and Report in the Breach

Donna Ladd writes that “the Mississippi Free Press will stand in the breach to report the truth” even in the face of looming fascism.

I need an illustrator who can execute an idea I have involving Tux the penguin and the BSD daemon mascot. The illustration will be used as a logo on web pages and also on branding items like stickers and coffee mugs. This is a paid commission, please respond with rates and a portfolio link via Mastodon, LinkedIn, or email ([email protected]).

Before the reply people jump in, I specifically do not want to use generative AI or sites like UpWork. Both are extremely exploitive. I prefer to deal directly with human artists.

The past year has been amazing. From marriage, to Pwn2Own to a Pwnie Award, I'm so grateful. I'm using the money I've won from hacking competitions, bounties, & RB for two ppl to travel & attend Hexacon, the premier offensive security con in Paris, France.

The formerly abandoned Bell Labs building in Holmdel, NJ. At one point slated for demolition, the historic site has since been turned into Bell Works, a multi-use complex that was the filming location for the series Severance.

Holmdel, New Jersey's Abandoned Bell Labs : The Idea Factory

One of the most innovative building designs where many of the 20th century's biggest scientific breakthroughs were made almost met the wrecking ball.

Okay, so I did a quick dive into sudo in Windows and here are my initial findings. https://www.tiraniddo.dev/2024/02/sudo-on-windows-quick-rundown.html

The main take away is, writing Rust won't save you from logical bugs :)

Sudo On Windows a Quick Rundown

Background The Windows Insider Preview build 26052 just shipped with a sudo command, I thought I'd just take a quick peek to see what it doe...

Yesterday, a couple of us learned that the school district thinks that 70% of the busses can be converted to electric by 2050.

The process of getting transformers from the electric company to build out the charging infrastructure has been slow. Time line of 1-2 years.

We also asked about the Green New Deal resolution in the school district and how the students worked on it. They spoke to the sustainability office and school board members several times to get it done.

BVSD becomes first district in the nation to pass “Green New Deal for Schools” resolution

The Boulder Valley School District has long been a leader in sustainability. Over the past few months students from across the district have lobbied the Board of Education to take even more ambitious action to fight climate change. Eventually, collaboratively, they were able to find common ground, drafting Resolution 23-30 Green New Deal, which supports the continued sustainability work of the district and encourages further leadership in this area moving forward.
