That said, there is a comfort to knowing there’s no one in the world that hates myself as much as I do, and I sure am motivated to work to make sure no one feels compelled to best me in that regard.

@shoofle by which I mean: Star Wars doesn’t have to explain the mines of Geonosis any more than it has to explain the jungle of Kashyyk or the swamps of Dagobah or the desert of Tatooine. It can start there as a mythical archetype and the rest is pure exercise, unlike a hard sci-fi piece.

@ratsnakegames I wish I could share that certainty. I’m extremely insecure about articulating things I feel strongly about, for a bunch of bad reasons. It’s often when I feel strongly that I’m not wrong that I make the worst mistakes.

@ratsnakegames because this is attached to a social structure for a niche that isn’t served much, being excluded from it would mean losing another social touchstone in a city where I’m increasingly isolated.
