Went on a solo spin today towards the Boggeragh Mountains. My club didn't go on a ride today out of respect for 3 club members who got into a serious accident during a trip to Spain (which I was planning to participate in until a work trip got in the way).
I decided to go out on my own and wear the club gear as a way to pay tribute to the club members. I was thinking about them during the ride, and wishing they were with me
There is a massive tower going up near navigation square in #cork. Looks like it will stick out like a sore thumb 👎
Took a day trip to see the #cliffsofmoher, #doolincave, #theburren and other nearby attractions in #countyclaire
It's amazing to be able to see so many wonderful things within a couple hours of our home near #cork #ireland
Went on two ~60 mile / ~4000 ft ascent rides with the club this weekend.
On Friday, we went up the road that was used to ship butter from Kerry to Cork. On Sunday, we rode down to the Old Head past Kinsale and took in the sights.
It was a mix of sunny and rain on both days, with some strong wind thrown in for fun. Happy I got out on both days, but my legs are spent 😁💨
