👻Ghost In The Machine. Despite being abandoned for nearly a decade, this old power plant control room in France was anything but silent.

A persistent, ominous humming still filled the air. A modern router blinked with green lights, sending data to unknown locations from this dead, decaying site.

Admiring the Mussel Rock Park mural at Trader Joe’s in Westlake (Daly City). My interpretation of the flag is that the birds have declared Mussel Rock as a sovereign state.

I had not previously seen that the name of their first satellite is Earendil-1, which is of course a name taken from Tolkien, as is tradition for all the worst modern tech companies.
