Steve Troughton-SmithSome good news: I don't know if Apple had a change of heart or what, but you *can* enable Xcode's intelligence features on the MacBook Neo with 8GB RAM, including ChatGPT and Codex support. Previously, this was limited to 16GB devices — I have no idea when that switch happened? 😯

Their specs are a bit different: Neo has a better webcam, display, CPU/NPU. M1 Air had a better GPU, battery, a Force Touch trackpad.
Both had 8GB memory.
Both had 256GB storage.
Both were $599.
