The house had a couple other owners in the meantime, and one was an architect, which is also pretty awesome, but as far as I know I'm the first to return the space to being a studio

I recently moved and part of the reason I fell in Iove with the place I bought was the walk-out basement space with an enormous brick fireplace. I saw it and immediately thought it would make an amazing metalsmithing studio.

Well, it turns out the house was built in the 50's for a potter and the basement was purpose built as her pottery studio.

I still can't get over how awesome this is. My new studio space was purpose built as a studio by a fellow artisan before my parents were born.

In a sports bar with all the TVs miscalibrated in different ways... one desaturated, one oversharpened to the point there's white borders everywhere, one with the white balance so cool it's all blue, and mamy more 🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀
TFW you read an article on "gen z phrases" and you're like this writer is either a boomer or a distressingly out of touch millennial because omg these were old a decade ago
Been away from social media for a couple years, did I miss anything?
Playing around with localization for C# interpolated strings. Anyone want to guess how it works? 😉
I'm honestly curious what kind of thinking and/or justifications lead to not verifying email address for new accounts that contain potentially sensitive information.

Obviously I wouldn't actually hijack someone else's account. All I wanted was to stop getting spammed with their private, personally identifiable information.

Hope the company didn't want me as a customer, I blocked their domain 😇

It's cute a company can pretend they're protecting a customer's account from the owner of the incorrect email address on the account... while having email-based password reset.
